In a pitch to fully realize Eddie Bauer’s “Live Your Adventure” credo, branding agency Toth & Co. hired us to concept ways in which digital interactions with EB customers could set this call into action while driving product sales.
Through their brand strategy documentation, we learned that Eddie Bauer saw outdoor adventurers of all levels in their customers. We asked ourselves what people might need to “get going”—whether it be walking trails with the dog or planning a far away trip to climb mountains. How might we share an inspiring level of adventuring ideas and products without alienating beginners or those simply wanting quality, everyday gear?
We proposed a trio of entry points into the digital “Live Your Adventure” realm: Get Inspired, Get Outfitted, and Get Going. From partnerships with pro athletes and adventurers, to an engaging outfit builder with a temperature and conditions scale, to location-enabled trip ideas, we connected Eddie Bauer to customers as an inspirational field guide, outfitter, and adventure planner, all in one.
